Modesto Performing Arts

As Modesto's oldest community theater company, Modesto Performing Arts is pleased to present its 41st Season.

MPA in 2005 received three Elly Awards from the Sacramento Area Regional Theater Alliance and is very proud since almost all of our performers, dancers, musicians and crew come from our local community.

The Elly Awards are made in honor of Eleanor McClatchy, who was a great supporter of the arts in our region. MPA received awards for "Best Overall Production Musical", "Best Choreography in a Musical", and "Best Supporting Actress in a Musical".

Every year, we are sincerely appreciative of the audience support and donations we receive. These are adverse financial times, and we strive each year to bring the very best musicals and entertainment to you as well as giving young people and talented adults from our community the opportunity to be trained and gain experience in the magic of the theater.
